11/12/09 - IPT Announcement
Following the governments Pre Budget Report issued on Wednesday, there has been an amendment with regards to the calculation of IPT where fees are applied to insurance contracts. A fee that is added to a personal lines contract must now include IPT at the rate of the insurance contract, unless the client is likely to pay the fee regardless of purchasing the insurance contract. There is more information available here. This means that our fee option must now be removed, however you may continue to use all of the commission options, including our net rates that include IPT. You may also contact us if you wish to have a bespoke commission rate set up to 30%.
20th November 2009 - Medical Screening
Following a recent campaign to receive your feeback on our facility, we have reviewed our additional premiums for covering medical conditions.
We are pleased to announce a reduction in the majority of medical APs with effect from 1st December 2009.
